He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Jonas and Charlotte Virginia Beckdol (Shannon). He is survived by: his wife Janet Clawges; his children, Juliann Engstrom (Gary) of Fredonia, Joy Park (Troy Homrighausen) of Boardman, OH, Jennifer Leon (John) of Parker, CO, John Hildebran (Holly) of Titusville and Susan Hildebran of Sheakleyville; his grandchildren, Neal and Shawn Engstrom; and his children, Ryan, Kelly Park, Elijah Hildebran, Jack, Addison Leon, Tanner Hildebran (Maria), Kaitlyn Hildebran, Sophie (Jake Ponikvar) and Bailey Varndell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3223 Perry Hwy P. O. Box 195, Sheakleyville, PA 16151). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hadley Cemetery.
