With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Angela Thompson (Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Neely (Breig) and Theodore Vincent Neely; and her son Charlie. She is survived by: her children, Tom Rice Jr., Bernard J. Rice, Agnes Rice Sawyer (Judson), Lise Davis Rice, Brian Thompson and Denise DePhillips; her grandchildren, Natalia Burgess (Jeremy), Charlie Rice (Kat), Michael Bushko, Benjamin Rice (Brittany), Samuel Rice, Claire Sawyer Shaffer (Paul), Gwendelyn Sawyer (Nick), Justin DePhillips (Kristy) and Spencer DePhillips (Caroline); and her great grandchildren, Lily, Angela, Alaina, Clover, Seamus, Brooks, Camille, Sutton and Celine. She is also survived by extended family; and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (11 Colburn Ave, Clarks Summit, PA 18411). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Countryside Community Church (14001 Orchard Dr, Clarks Summit, PA 18411). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Abington Hills Cemetery (800 Morgan Hwy, South Abington Township, PA 18411).
