Bette M. Burns Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bette M. Burns of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Burns; her parents, Hugh Morris and Clare Burke Morris; her son Brian Albert; and her sister MariLou Merzweiler.
She is survived by: her children, Bette Ann Burns Damron (Lester) of Charlton, MA, Dr. H. Donald Burns (Mary Ann) of Harleysville, PA. and G. Kevin Burns (Lynda) of Scranton, PA.; her grandchildren, Stacey Habermeier (Wayne), Jennifer Young (Andy), Melanie Ramunno (Lou), Eric Burns (Audrey), Melinda Arcuri and Deanna Rosencrans (Gary); her great grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie Young, Drew Habermeier, Sophia, Christina Ramunno, Olivia Arcuri (Christian Winkler), Iris, Landry Arcuri, Tyler and Logan Rosencrans; and her sisters, Peg McDowell of Ohio and Judi Ray of Florida. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions be made in Bette's honor to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research Grand Central Station.
