We are sad to announce that, on March 20, 2026, at the age of 73, Charles F. McDermott of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Charles find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Joseph and Margaret Johanna MsDermott (Mawn); and his brother Paul McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie McDermott (McDonnell); his daughter Casey Lynn McDermott (Marcel Evans); his stepsons, Matthew Shaw (Erica) of Virginia Beach and Jake Shaw of Pittsburgh; his sister Eileen Janosko (Patrick) of Sayre; and his granddaughters, Morgan Shaw and Genevieve McDermott. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
