He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Herman and Mary Herman (Hennigan); and his siblings, Grace McLane (Herman), John, Joseph and Louie Herman.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughter Sharon; his granddaughter Audrey; and his nephew William McLane, Jr..
