Ruth will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Schneider and Dee Ann Cleeland Schneider; and her brother Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Robert Charney; her children, Jason Kearney (Mara) of Dalton and Sarah Kearney of Scranton; her sisters, Nicole Lowe (Ron) and Jennifer Kearney; and her grandchildren, Chloe Leigh, Jack, Aylah, Avery and Mason. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Service (418 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411).
