It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Savitts of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Savitts and Jean Carey Savitts. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Patrick DeSarno, Michael DeSarno (Emily), Angelo DeSarno (Roslyn) and Lucy Young (Shayne); his grandchildren, AJ, Adam Hufford, Philip, Neyland, Mildred DeSarno and Shayne Young; his sisters, Kathy Savitts and Barbara King; and his siblings' children, Jonathan, Benjamin King and Kelly King. He is also survived by two great nephews and a great niece.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home (418 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Snows Church (301 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411).
