He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Savitts and Jean Carey Savitts. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Patrick DeSarno, Michael DeSarno (Emily), Angelo DeSarno (Roslyn) and Lucy Young (Shayne); his grandchildren, AJ, Adam Hufford, Philip, Neyland, Mildred DeSarno and Shayne Young; his sisters, Kathy Savitts and Barbara King; and his siblings' children, Jonathan, Benjamin King and Kelly King. He is also survived by two great nephews and a great niece.
