It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Louise Shirey of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Vera Smith (Showden); her brother Robert D. Smith; and her grandparents, Urban, Magdalene Kolbe, William and Kathryn Showden.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Lee Shirey; her daughters, Kendi Jo Kester (Bryan) of Springville, NY, Deann L. Marshall (Paul) of Heathsville, VA and Dr. Kari Ann Shirey; her grandchildren, Alyssa Marshall (Frank Baughman) of Clearfield, Cody Marshall of Houtzdale, Gabrielle Kester of Springville, NY and Ryan Kester of Springville, NY; and her great grandchild Milo Dispenza of Springville, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
