He was predeceased by: his parents, Levis Read Jr. and Doris Read (Lingle); and his brother Gerald Read. He is survived by: his wife Melody L. Read; his sons, Sean Read (Jessica) of Arlington, VA and Trevor Read (Emma) of Pittsburgh; and his grandchildren, Aaron and Alina Read.
