He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Kitchen and Ann Kitchen (Koresko); and his brother Firmin Kitchen. He is survived by : his children, Lance Shomo (Shelly) of Clearfield, Gretchen Kitchen of Destin, FL and Melissa Kitchen (Dave Bush) of Destin, FL; his grandchildren, Justin Shomo, Lindsey Shomo, Jamie Wassel, Jessica Starr, Alexis Shomo and Jazlynn Shomo; and his siblings, Walter Kitchen, Dan Kitchen, Joanne Kitchen and Diane Luzier. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
