He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joseph B Lanich and Agnes E Lanich (Lansberry); his son Fredrick J Lanich of Madera; his grandchildren, Myranda Queen of McConnellsburg, Jarrett Lanich and Teryn Lanich of Sandy Ridge; his son Eric Lanich (Daylnn Fasig) of Windsor; his grandchildren, Brittney Klinedinst and Nate Lanich; his great grandchildren, Bryson Bedwell, Jaxten LoPresti and Everly Lanich; and his siblings, Walter "Bud" Lanich of Mt Airy, MD, Paul "Foot" Lanich of Clearfield, Charles "Sam" Lanich of Curwensville, Josephine Mahlon of Clearfield, Dorothy Walk of St. Augustine, Florida, Betty McLaughlin of Clearfield and Donna Modzel of Dunedin, Florida.. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
