He was predeceased by: his parents, William McLaughlin and Ethel McLaughlin (Turner); his son Terry McLaughlin; and his siblings, Richard McLaughlin, Mary Haney, Anna Mae Dixon, Doreen Dixon, Shirley Maines and Mildred Spingola.
He is survived by: his wife Edna McLaughlin (Dixon); his daughters, Sharon Sheaffer and Jessica McLaughlin; and his grandsons, Michael Simpson, Christopher Simpson, Joshua Simpson, Fredrick McLaughlin and Matthew McLaughlin. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
