He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hunsinger and Lyda Hunsinger (Milbrandt); his son Thadd Johnson; and his granddaughter Katie O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Julie Hunsinger (Peters); his children, Mark Johnson (Lisa), Heidi O'Brien (Jeff) and Amanda Wilgenburg (Gert); and his brother John Hunsinger.
