It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John T Kovach Jr. of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Kovach Sr. and Edna Mae Kovach (Comitz) of Osceola Mills; his stepmother Lois; and his sister Darlene Smolko (Kovach). He is survived by: his wife Toni Kovach (Pizzella); and his children, Rebecca Kovach (Adam Phillips) of Erie, PA, Claire Kovach (Michael DeLyser) of State College, Vincent Kovach of Harrisburg and Dominic Kovach of State College.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that family and friends donate to the Alzheimer's Association or the local Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic.
