With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth J. Clapsadle (Clearfield, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Clapsadle and Cecelia Clapsadle (Rafferty); his wife Rosalie Clapsadle (Hall); and his daughter Brenda Thornhill. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Davis (Joe) of Clearfield, Sandra Bailor (Perry Rowles) of Clearfield and Tracy Witherow (Ed) of Lancaster; his great grandchildren, Joey Davis, Heather DePiano, Jason Bailor, Cory Bailor, Courtney Thompson, Taylor Aughenbaugh, Ryan Thornhill (Pedro), Amber Nichols and Michele Williams (Jason); and his siblings, John (Barbara) of Westminster, MD, Carl of Rock Hill, NC and Sara Forte of Cherry Hill, NJ..
Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory (113 N 3rd St, Clearfield, PA 16830). A Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church (306 Walnut St, Curwensville, PA 16833).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brenda Clapsadle Thornhill Memorial Scholarship in care of Kim Davis, 1217 Joseph Road, Clearfield, PA 16830.
