She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold D. Mitchell and Dessie B. Mitchell (Cole); her husband Michael Berger; and her nephews, Shannon Quick and Jeffrey Mitchell, Jr..

She is survived by : her siblings, Kathy L. Roberts (Brian) of Frenchville, PA, LuAnn Quick of Clearfield, PA, David Lee Mitchell of Philipsburg, PA, Randy Scott Mitchell (Tammy) of Seward, PA and Jeffery Lynn Mitchell (Sandra) of New Florence, PA; her nieces, Bonnie Sylvester, Dayna Wiseman, Jennifer Stover and Michele Hallstraum; and her nephew James Stover, Jr..
