She was predeceased by: her parents, John Martel and Levina Martel (Billotte); her husband James E.'Jim'Swanson; and her siblings-in-law, Fred, Claude, Leonard Swanson, Abe Wisor, Leda Swanson Wisor and Fran Swanson.
She is survived by: her children, James E. Swanson II of Moravia, IA and Teresa R. Belliveau (Ernie) of Fairhaven, MA; her grandchildren, Donal J. Swanson and Emma K. Swanson; her brother Ronald J. Martel (Eileen) of Fairfax, VA; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald Swanson of Marysville, PA, Sharon Hoffman of Marysville, PA, Kathy Swanson of Zephyr Hills, FL and Ginger Swanson of Woodland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to either the American Stroke Foundation or The Michael J. Fox Parkinsons Foundation.
