We announce the death of Sharon R. Shimko of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 75. Sharon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack J. Bremigen and Lois V. Bremigen (Levin); her husband F. William Shimko; her in-laws, Francis M. and Mary L. Shimko (Sofranek); her brothers-in-law, John R. Shimko, Rev. Larry C. Hill and Kevin S. Wisor, Sr.; and her nephew Christopher T. Hill.
She is survived by: her sons, David J. Shimko of Clearfield and William F. Shimko; her daughter-in-law Katherine (Toher) of Pittsburgh; her granddaughters, Dessa, Clara and Emmeline; her sisters, Ruth E. Hill (Bremigen) of Springfield and Joyce A. Wisor (Bremigen) of Clearfield; and her sister-in-law Jane Shimko (Boyer) of Elysburg, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
