He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Bixler and Carl Bixler. He is survived by: his wife Susan M. Bixler; his children, Michael Bixler (Jennifer Bixler), Samantha L. Osterlof (Ryan Osterlof) and Lisa Bixler; and his grandchildren, Chase, Evan, Khloe, Harrison and Jackson.
