He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Charles and Julia Melvin Stephens; and his pet Lucy. He is survived by: his brother Larry Stephens; his sons, Randy Stephens (Billi Jo) and Michael "Gunny" Stephens (Tracy Couch Kowcheck); his grandchildren, Amanda Strope (Aaron McKindley), Garrett Stephens and Gretchen Searcy (Chase); and his great grandchild Hudson McKindley.
