He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DeForte and Betty DeForte. He is survived by: his sister Betty Jean Johnson (DeForte); his son William J. DeForte Jr.; his grandchildren, Eric Pizer Jr., Alyshia Ciaramello (Pizer) and Valeria Sokolova; and his great grandchildren, Oakley Pizer and Nico Ciaramello.
A reception was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Home (1227 US-30, Imperial, PA 15126).
