She was predeceased by: her husband Frank DeFebo; her parents, Joseph Shigo and Ann Shigo (Kovac); her brothers, William, Joseph, Robert and Rev. Francis Shigo; and her grandson Curtis DeFebo.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Nietz (Jeff) of Coaldale, Louise DeFebo of Coaldale, Frank DeFebo (Lisa) of Coaldale, Mary Comensky (Rick Parsons) of Coaldale and Patti Gerber (Scott) of Coaldale; and her grandchildren, Scott Nietz, Frank Nietz, Lauren Nietz-Becker, Maria Serina, Leanne Clee, Gina Pursell, Kayla Poluka, Samantha DeFebo, Theresa DeFebo, Frank DeFebo, Elizabeth Comensky, Dominic Comensky, Emily Hadesty and Nicholas Barron. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
