He was predeceased by: his parents, William MacKenzie and Catherine MacKenzie (Zino); his wife Janet (McGah); his grandson Brandon Bommelyn; and his brothers, John MacKenzie (Frances) and William MacKenzie (Elaine).
He is survived by: his children, Denise M. Bommelyn (Jeffrey) of Coatesville, Susan Gentile (Brian) of Glenmoore and Scott M. MacKenzie (Deborah) of Coatesville; his grandchildren, Rachael Bommelyn (Luis), Kayla Gentile (Nicolas), Sydney MacKenzie, Jordan MacKenzie and Braden Gentile; and his great grandchildren, Robert, Ava, Marcelo and Hazel.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Downingtown (332 Manor Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335).
