He was predeceased by: his parents, Reed Vogt and Claribell Vogt (Barnes) of Lake City; his wife Eleonore Alter (Vogt); and his sister Patricia Calvin. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Vogt (Karen) of Cochranton, Debera Tenney (John) of Franklin and Barbara Burge (Phillip) of Springport, IN.; and his grandchildren, Lloyd "Eddie" Wheeler (April), Michael Vogt, Shannon Roberts, Tonya Wolfe, Lindsey Vogt (Stephanie), Caleb Tenney (Erica) and Nathan Tenney (Melanie). He is also survived by six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3223 Perry Hwy P. O. Box 195, Sheakleyville, PA 16151). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
