It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francois Noel Weigel of Cochranville, Pennsylvania, born in Elkton, Maryland, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Amos; and his son Richard Weigel. He is survived by : his wife Linda Newton Weigel; his children, Michael Weigel (Melissa) of New Castle, DE, Greg Weigel of Oxford, Deborah Gingrich of Newark, DE and Tracey Polito (Joe) of Oxford; and his grandchildren, Max Given, Blake Norcini, Jeff Gingrich, Brandon Chadwick, Brittany Chadwick, Jaxon McAdams, Zachery Polito and Carly Polito. He is also survived by four great- grandchildren.
