He is survived by: his wife Clara Sabolsky; his children, Michael Error (Renee) of Dublin and Suzanne E. Ailes of Bentleyville; his grandchildren, Kaytlin (Fernando) of Austin and Michael of Dublin; his sister Mary "Dolly" Sebro (Millie Error); and his siblings-in-law, Margaret "Peggy" Livingston (William) of Fort Wayne, Darlene "Tunie" Fiem Error of Cokeburg and William "Willie" Toth of Mill Run, PA.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that in remembrance of Dixon's life and love, any charitable donations be made to hospice or an animal rescue.
