She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon C. Freese and Catherine Freese; and her spouses, James M. Atkins, Jr. and Thomas Dougherty. She is survived by: her children, Megan Cutrone (Steve), Meredith McCarraher (Sean) and James M. Atkins, III (Lisa); her stepdaughters, Stephanie Dougherty and Cindy Durante (Nicholas); and her grandchildren, James Thomas, James Madison IV, Mara, Jessica, Jason and Thomas Durante.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Boyd-Horrox Givnish Funeral Home (200 W Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19401). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
