He was predeceased by : his parents, Angeline and Max E. Harness, Sr.; and his brother Max E. Harness, Jr.. He is survived by : his brother James R. Harness; his wife Ruth M. Harness; his daughters, Ruth Ann Harness (Leonard Daskus) and Joann Harness (Bill Derrickson); and his siblings, Ann Marie and Francis L. Harness. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
