He is survived by: his mother Margaret Dowd; his wife Barbara A. Stump (Shanfelter); his children, Jason Stump and Diane Golden (Stump); his stepfather Daniel Dowd; his brothers, Jeff Stump, Eric Stump, Daniel Stump, David Stump and Daniel Dowd; his cousin Rose Crispin; and his grandchildren, Brittany Johnson, Jay Stump, Daniel Stump, Ashley Golden, Jaxson Golden III and Gavin Golden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
