He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Amos R. Ortman and Mary Winkle Ortman; his wife Cynthia Holland Ortman; his sons, Scott M. Ortman and Amos W. Ortman; and his sisters, Sharon Boyles (late Ronnie), Patricia Sholly (Gerald) and Catherine Rideaux.
