She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Mae (Murr) and George Dewey Sheets Sr.; her husband John Thomas "Mouse" Auer; and her siblings, George D. Sheets Jr., Edna C. Sheets, Ethel M. Holtzinger, Emily E. Haberstroh, Rose A. Evans and Janet M. Blumenschein.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice Marie Simmons (Michael L. Simmons) of Fork Union, VA; her granddaughter Anna Elizabeth Fox (Matthew T. Fox) of Amissville, VA; her great grandchildren, Maverick Bryce Fox and Levi Thomas Fox of Amissville, VA.; and her sisters, Mary Joanne Barr of Columbia, PA and Bonnie Lee Rudisill (Douglas Rudisill) of Mountville, PA..
