We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2025, Catherine V. (Kit) Brommer of Columbia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Brommer; her parents, Harry S. Penwell and Veronica Penwell Tschudy; and her siblings, Francis Neff, Agnes Shields, Mary Shields Bell, Loretta Shields Potenzo and Clovie Penwell Gibble.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Brommer Smith (late Gregory Smith) and James Brommer (Victoria Kocher Brommer); her grandchildren, Keary Smith (Jodi), Jennifer Kauffman (Kevin Kauffman) and Ryan Brommer (Jennifer); and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Brady Smith, Connor, Ethan, Julia Catherine Kauffman and Mackenzie Brommer.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (340 Locust St, Columbia, PA 17512). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
