With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James R. Stover (Columbia, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer C. Stover and Doris E. Zitzer Stover; and his children, Kimberly (Todd Callahan) and David Stover. He is survived by: his wife Melva Stover; his siblings, Elmer K Stover Jr., Joan of Reston, Sheila (Henry Geib) of New Freedom and Richard L. Stover of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Cory Johnson, Justin Fritz, Kayla Cooperstein, Alexis Stover, Blake Stover and Jaxon Stover.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church. A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
