He is survived by: his mother Lois Feltch Sauder; his daughter Sherrie LaChapelle; his siblings, Deborah Bohn and Glenn "Poss" Sauder; his grandchildren, Dylan Rapp, Landon Smith, Joseph LaChapelle, Jr., Keaton Smith and Kylee LaChapelle; and his great grandchildren, Hudson, McKinley Rapp, Avionn, Elias and Ava Ortiz.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Habecker Cemetery (451 Habecker Church Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603).
