He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Resch and Agnes A. Resch (Wisler); his brother James J. Resch; and his nephew James M. Resch. He is survived by: his wife Jen (Dietz); his sons, Robert A. Resch (Dori) of Lititz, Paul Resch (Michele) of Columbia and Jason Dietz of Columbia; his niece Tracy Witmer (Tom) of Lancaster; and his nephew Steven Resch (Tracey) of Lancaster. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
