We are sad to announce that, on August 9, 2025, Robert Poindexter (Columbia, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lucille Abney, John Poindexter, Leroy Poindexter, Elizabeth Lopez, Charles Poindexter, Norma Freeman, Barbara Beattie, Arthur Poindexter, Richard Poindexter and Malcom Poindexter.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bailer P. Poindexter; his daughter Aleece Miller of Mt Joy, PA; his stepchildren, Terrence Proctor of Columbia, PA and Tamara Cooksey (Michael) of Columbia, PA; and his siblings, Vivian Colon of Columbia, PA and Gerald Poindexter (Elaine) of California. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family.
