He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas, Sr. Renoll and Phyllis Renoll; his brother Gary Spicer; and his stepmother Mary Jane Spicer. He is survived by: his wife Sue Spicer of Columbia; his children, Angie Spicer of Columbia, Becky (Russ Smith) of Richmond, VA and Joe Spicer; his close friend Sarah Williams of York; his grandsons, Tim Powell of Columbia, Jacob and Max Smith of Richmond, VA; and his siblings, Mike (Brenda Spicer) of Oregon, Scott Spicer of Columbia and Lisa (Chunk Lehman) of Columbia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many many friends.
