She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hoover and Martha Hoover (Rudolph); her husband Edward J. Ligda; her son Edward J. Ligda; and her siblings, Frank Hoover, Connie Winsko and Rita Alvarez.

She is survived by: her son Daniel; her daughter-in-law Karen Ligda; and her grandchildren, Erik Ligda, Heidi Gavazzi, Lauren DePetro and Tyler Ligda. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
