He was predeceased by : his parents, John Kakabar and Frances O. Kakabar (Wolaston); and his siblings, Mary Selepak, Ruth Piekarski, Dorothy Selepak and Bill Kakabar.
He is survived by : his wife Beverly Diebert; his children, Ronald J. Kakabar, Jr. and Vanessa (Cory Adams) of Nanty Glo; and his pet Toby.
