It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lois Martin (Conestoga, Pennsylvania), born in Drumore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her spouse W. Mylin "Whitey" Martin; her parents, Aldus G. Eshleman and Beulah Augusta Eckman Eshleman; and her brothers, Alva, Robert, Gene and Russell Eshleman.

She is survived by : her children, Doug Martin of Holtwood, Denise (Doug Rankin) of Marticville and Dean; her mother-in-law Lisa Martin of Pequea; her grandchildren, Laura (Patrick Hallock) of Lancaster, Stephanie (Dan Herrmann) of Lititz, Emma (Nick Karoullas) of Marietta, Kyle (Brandi Martin) of Willow Street, Kurt Martin of Millersville, Nicole (Tim Shonk) of Lancaster, Darren and Dana Rankin of Marticville; and her great grandchildren, Nora, Patrick, Asher, Jacob, Michael, Torsten, Gunnar, Mason, Bennett and Hank.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Conestoga United Methodist – Cemetery Fund and mailed to the church.

“I was so sorry to hear about Helen. When I was growing up, our families spent time together at the cabin in Potter County, as well as going to Crystal Beach (and Kegels Restaurant before our dad's went deer hunting). Helen was actually responsible for my mom and dad meeting. Helen was a beautiful person, inside and out and she touched the lives of countless people. It was an honor and a privilege to have known both Helen and Whitey. So sorry for your loss -- Becky Vickers-Gross”
