With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W Kreger (Confluence, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 25, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Kreger and Maude Kreger (Colflesh); his wife Rita Kreger (Gindlesperger); and his brother Barry Ray. He is survived by: his children, Betsy and William; his sister-in-law Louise Dumbauld (Gerald); and his brother Ron DeBacco (Janey).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Humbert Funeral Home (704 Logan Pl, Confluence, PA 15424). Viewing was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kingwood Church of God (119 State Rte 3007, Markleton, PA 15551). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the Kingwood Church of God or Windber Hospice.
