He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Myrtle Anthony (Peterson); his son Larry; his son-in-law Randy Uzarski; and his siblings, Frances Reese, Verda Lasher, Doris Schmitt, Joseph, Junior, Claire, Marlin, Gene Anthony, Wayne See and Daryl Hawk.

He is survived by: his wife Marjorie K. Howles; his children, David Dygert (Sherry), Melissa Uzarski, Eric Dygert (Karen) and Mary Ann Knapp (John); and his grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Tyler (Cassidy), Kai, Paul, Jessica (Dylan), Katie (Russell), Joseph, Erica (Robert), Jeremy, Brandy (Jarred), Steven and Julie (Darrin).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home (130 N 2nd St, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316). Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
