She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Jamison and Berdina Jamison (Everden); her husband Richard "Slick" Battles; her great grandchild Owen Peters; and her sisters, Nancy Senyo and Bonnie DeSalle.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kristi Sherman (Jim) of Harmonsburg and Kelli Peters (John) of Conneaut Lake; her grandchildren, Jason Peters (Amber) of Linesville, Zachary Sherman of Conneaut Lake, Julia Karp (Zach) of Greenville and Brandon Sherman of Akron, Ohio; her great grandchildren, Cecilia Sherman, Theodore and Vincent Peters; and her siblings-in-law, Roy Battles (Pat) of Greenville, Don Battles of Goshen, Indiana, Pat Featherolf (Mark) of Conneaut and Connie Battles of Avon Park, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions may be made to Crawford County Humane Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
