He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hugh Shilling and Ruth Shilling (Stainbrook); and his brothers, Richard Shilling (Mary), John and Ron Shilling.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shilling (Ritter) of Conneaut Lake; his children, David Shilling (Jill) of Hastings, Douglas Shilling (Tracy) of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Sharonâ, Andrea Ritter and Michelle Smith; his sister Shirley; and his grandson Austin Shilling. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
