Danny Wood wrote a sympathy message

“Cindy and family; so sorry for your loss Dave was my best friend.We first met at recess at Eldon school playground playing tag.He was this little fat kid that nobody could tag.lol We became best friends.From judging dogs at fox hunts to being starters our senior year for Eldon mustangs basketball team in 1971 to dave being my best man in 1975 to our visit at our 50 th class reunion in 2021.Dave was truly my best friend and it is so hard to say good bye for now.I will cherish each memory forever!”
