He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Keefer and Iva M. Wingrove Goswick Keefer; and his siblings, Phillip, Kenneth, Rudolph, Sylvia Fox, Sally Kerkel and Virginia Keefer.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Goodwin Keefer; and his nieces, Dr. Katherine Brown of LaMesa and Suzette Kolashinski of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
