He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Johnny Shaffer of Hyndman, PA, Ewing "Hoppy" Upton and Betty Marie Upton (Hiles) of Dunbar; his parents-in-law, Mary Shultz (Fulton) and Melvin "Tom" Shultz of Normalville; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Hurley of Connellsville and Janice Shultz of Connellsville.
He is survived by: his parents, Beverly Jean (Shaffer) and Clarence Patrick Upton of Dunbar, PA.; his wife Anna Upton (Shultz); his son Carson; his grandmother Ida "Jeanie" Shaffer of Hyndman; his sister Julie Bishop; his nephew Brandon Bishop; his sister Lori Hay; his brother-in-law Theodore "Teddy" Hay; his siblings' children, Carmen, Mylee and Ryker Hay; his sister-in-law Stacie Keefer; and his siblings' children, Ava Keefer, Neal Shultz (family: Jonathan Shultz, Ryan Hurley) and Amanda Connors. He is also survived by his family, Jonathan Shultz and his family.
