It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Mae Shaw of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 26, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold H. Wandel and Gladys H. Wandel (Rupauch); her husband Joseph F. Shaw; and her sisters, Dolores J. Strawn and Kathryn A. Ansell.
She is survived by: her children, C. Kim Petko (Joseph) of Connellsville, PA, Joseph H. Shaw (Ruth) of Hagerstown, MD, Gretchen L. Schulz (Geralyn) of Silver Springs, MD and Lori J. Henry (Edward) of Normalville, PA; her grandchildren, Jill DeWitt (Roy III), Melissa Schilling (Chad), Jeffrey Stewart (Alicia Saylor), Adam Burgin (Ashley Farley), Edward Henry Jr. (Sydney Porterfield) and Leah Mae Henry; her great grandchildren, Chandler DeWitt, Chaney DeWitt, Adelore Schilling, Avalee Farley and Alexander Burgin; and her sister Joy Sampey (Lee). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
