He was predeceased by: his father Charles F. McKendry; his brother Dennis; Barbara McKendry. He is survived by: his mother Ellen McKendry (Walters); his sister Saria Bushmire of Scottdale; and his nephews, Chuckie McKendry, Shane Bushmire of Scottdale and Tony Bushmire.
In lieu of flowers, David requested funds be made and sent to Calvary Assembly of God and marked "BGMC".
