It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Basinger of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewing Nicholson and Ella Pryor Nicholson; her husband Glen Basinger; her son Leslie Basinger; and her siblings, Ruth Eicher and Allan Nicholson.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Basinger (Jill) and Lesia Cramer (Donald); her daughter-in-law Carol Basinger; her grandchildren, Scott Basinger (Kelly Onusko), Tina Kosisko (Joe), Alysia Cramer, Wesley Cramer and Brock Basinger (Caitlin); her great grandchildren, Hannah, Cain, Conner Basinger Hailey and Aidan Kosisko; her stepgrandchildren, Brandon and Cassie Beucher (Sam); her stepgreat-grandchild Barrett; her siblings, Ewing Nicholson, Jr., Loretta Biler and LaVaughn Jaynes; and her caregivers, Brennan, Kristin and Tiffany.
